No. MAH-365/97) Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) has awarded IIFE "A Project institude for Curriculum Revision Project (2006-2007) for Fire Safety Engineering courses by MSBTE. Our Ex students are working in Government, Semi Government, Indian Railway, Public Sectors such as Ordnance factory and Depots of India, Indian Airlines, CISF, Various Corporation and state fire service, in industries such as Maruti Udyog Ltd, TISCO, Tata Motor, Honda Motors, Samsung, LG Electronics Hindalco, IPCL, ONGC, Steel Industries, Chemical Industries, Textile Industries, Power Project, Auto mobiles Industries, Refinery Industries, Port Trust, Birla Copper and abroad such as Dubbal Aluminum, Dubai Airport. IIFE has been appointed as a fire safety consultant for HSIDC, Haryana and Nagpur Municipal Corporation Nagpur. IIFE was a training provider for Indian Railway, Indian Navy and many others multinational companies. Thousands of people are killed or injured and properties worth billions of rupees are destroyed due to fire. In addition, the loss of time, income and corporate profits caused by accidents, injuries, occupational health problems and hazardous material also add millions of rupees. Our mission is to mitigate the threat to life and properties through quality education in training, prevention, inspection and preparedness. To educate students in Fire prevention, Fire detection, Fire fighting, Servicing of Fire equipments by imparting theoretical knowledge, practical training, ground drills, modern fire fighting equipments and projects. IIFE has only one Motto that is "WE TRAIN TO SAVE" life and property from devastating Fire/Accident/Earth Quake/Natural Calamities etc.

Indian Institute Of Fire Engineering (IIFE) has adequate numbers of highly qualified and trained faculties of national repute and proven capabilities of high caliber in various disciplines like Fire Engg, Civil Engg, Industrial Safety, Mechanical Engg, Chemical Engg, Electrical Engg, Doctors for Anatomy and First-Aid and Senior Defence Personnel. The faculties keep themselves abreast of latest technological development in the country and abroad through participation in various activities like seminars, conferences, training programmes, guest Lectures, Magazines & Technical Papers etc. Fire Services are uniform Services and also fourth line of Defence forces, Discipline, Physical fitness, Squad drills etc are regular schedule in training programmes. Physical fitness is conducted in Half Pant and T-Shirt, theory classes are to be attended in uniform and fire drill are conducted in overall with Shoes and Safety Helmets. The daily schedule start from 06.00 Hrs to 07.00 Hrs with Physical fitness exercises, 10.00 Hrs to 13.00 Hrs - theory classes are to be attended in uniform and 1500 Hrs to 1700 Hrs fire drill are conducted in overall with gumboots and safety helmet. Three to Four week’s practical attachment is being given to the students in major cities or industries.
